Uganda Christian Institute for Professional Development (UCIPD) is a Christian-based academic institution committed to empowering individuals through accessible, high-quality professional education rooted in faith and service. Founded in 2010, UCIPD emerged after in-depth research revealed a critical shortage of qualified professionals across Uganda, especially in the underserved regions of Northern Uganda.
Our founding mission was clear: to provide affordable and accredited professional training to Ugandans—particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds—who are determined to better their lives through education. UCIPD exists to meet this need, bridging the gap between ambition and opportunity.
We are a licensed institution, offering a wide range of accredited academic programs recognized by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) under License Number TI.PL0059 and UBTVET License Number UBTV119. Our programs are designed to equip learners with both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to excel in today’s competitive professional landscape.
